The Quaker Church of the Religious Society the Friends of Holguin. A Particular Local Heritage

The identification and the recognition of a patrimonial property sometimes don’t result so easy by a community, especially, when this don’t possess relevant architectural values, and is unknown others of historical and sociocultural signification. Such is the case of the church The Friends of Holguin belonging to the Quakers Congregation, religious community proceeding from United States of North America, built at the beginning of the XX century, which study is undertaken at the present work. In it stay evidenced particular constructive aspects, and others of social relevance that convert it in a tangible and intangible expression of the relationships, the influences and the socioeconomic and cultural exchanges that historically existed between this country and Cuba.
