APUNTES SOBRE LA ESCULTURA EN CENTRO HABANA Y SU ENTORNO
Abstract
ResumenDesde el período de la Colonia La Habana tiene obras y
monumentos escultóricos, primeramente hechas por artistas
extranjeros y después, desde fines del siglo XIX, por escultores
cubanos. En este trabajo se hace un breve recorrido por
destacadas obras de la escultura en el Municipio Centro Habana
y se aborda además, por su importancia ejemplos que se ubican
en una zona de frontera con la Habana Vieja.

Abstract
From the period of colonial Havana had sculptural works and
monuments, first made by foreign artists and then from the
late nineteenth century, also by Cuban sculptor. This paper
makes a brief review of outstanding examples of sculpture in
the Centro Habana municipality and also addresses, for their
significance examples located in a border area with Old Havana.
