La Habana. Evolución del edificio de apartamentos

Los edificios de apartamentos constituyen la mayoría de la masa urbana en que habita la población, que le asigna valores, por lo cual el conocimiento de esta arquitectura y su evolución representa un importante referente para la producción habitacional futura. El presente artículo resume una investigación desarrollada en tres etapas durante 10 años, con vistas a conocer la esencia volumétrico – espacial que condiciona el ambiente interior del edificio de apartamentos en La Habana. Como resultado se caracteriza su evolución hasta el presente, clasificando las tipologías según la relación de las viviendas con la circulación de acceso y la relación espacial interior – exterior, en función del contexto urbano. En lugar de conclusiones, se ofrecen reflexiones finales sobre los valores asignados por la población, y recomendaciones con vistas a mejorar la futura calidad habitacional en la ciudad.Downloads
