ABSTRACT: In the process of discussion and convergence of methodologies between architecture, history and archeology, a possibility of integration is presented through the concept of archaeotechture. The object of study is an architectural rest of the early twentieth
century on a dividing wall between a historicist building and other functionalist. Apparently without architectural value, the Ionian pilaster studied leads to the reconstruction of buildings that occupied the site where it is now the Palace of Justice. Through the concept of
heritage, it is addressed to the examination of historical contexts and cultural and symbolic principles linked to the pilaster. As a result, the timing of development of buildings in relation to their legal and aesthetic
context is established and a final reflection arises on the need for interaction of buildings in order to ensuring their preservation, consistent with the methodological integration proposed.
