Desempeños del estudiante de Arquitectura. Una experiencia de investigación en la Universidad del Bío-Bío

Este artículo muestra parte de los resultados de la investigación en docencia “CREA 2-3. Plan de implementación del proceso de renovación curricular de la carrera de Arquitectura, desde una práctica integrada”. El estudio tuvo como objetivo evidenciar los desempeños, Primer Nivel de Logro de los estudiantes de primer año a partir de las competencias declaradas en el plan de estudio. Se presenta la metodología desarrollada para evidenciar los desempeños de los estudiantes, bajo el principio de currículum integrado según el diseño curricular de la escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad del Bío-Bío. Se trabajó bajo un enfoque cualitativo- interpretativo. Los resultados dan cuenta de los aciertos y desaciertos del diseño curricular según las diferentes instancias de análisis documental y validación con la comunidad docente. Como hallazgo se evidencia el acercamiento a la articulación de los aprendizajes disciplinares y genéricos, al desempeño idóneo con sus respectivas evidencias.
This article shows the results from the teaching research project titled “CREA 2-3. Implementation plan of the curriculum renovation for the degree in Architecture, from an integrated practice”. The aim of the study was to show the performance, first level of achievement of first year students from the established study plan. It presents the methodology developed to show students’ performance, under the principle of an integrated curriculum according to the curricular design of the School of Architecture at the Universidad del Bio-Bio. The approach was qualitative- interpretative. The results show success and errors of the curricular design in accordance with different stages of the documents’ analysis and validation with the academic community. As an evidence, it shows the approach taken by the articulation of disciplinary and generic learning, which is a suitable performance with its respective evidences.
