Resumen.
Industrialized technologies with appropriate character for the reconstruction post-disaster of housing: the case of Santiago de Cuba
Abstract.
To maximize the benefits of the use of industrial technologies in post-disaster housing reconstruction and reduce its negative medium and long-term impacts, a multidimensional approach is proposed, which is based on the concept of appropriate technology within the principles of sustainability and resilience, which includes technological, economic, of the impact on the natural environment and socio-cultural aspects. This approach was evaluated in the technologies used with greater representation in the post Hurricane Sandy reconstruction, which occurred in 2012 in Santiago de Cuba: FORSA, VHICOA and Gran Panel. The results showed that from the technological dimension, the use of Gran Panel provides greater benefits but was the most expensive; the VHICOA produces minor impacts on the natural environment; and the surveys showed that the most socio-cultural acceptance, had the technologies Gran Panel and FORSA.

Dicho enfoque fue evaluado en las tecnologías utilizadas con mayor representatividad en la reconstrucción luego del huracán Sandy, ocurrido en el año 2012 en Santiago de Cuba: FORSA, VHICOA y Gran Panel. Los resultados evidenciaron que desde la dimensión tecnológica, el uso del Gran Panel brinda mayores ventajas aunque resultó ser el más costoso; el VHICOA produce los menores impactos sobre el medio natural; y, por las encuestas aplicadas, se demostró que la mayor aceptación sociocultural, la tuvieron las tecnologías Gran Panel y FORSA.
