Intercambio de conocimientos para la reducción de riesgos de desastres
Abstract
Entre los días 5 al 9 de febrero de 2007 se ha celebrado en La República Dominicana la Feria de Conocimientos “Reduciendo Desastres y Preparando Comunidades”, evento que se desarrolla periódicamente en la Región, promovido por el CRMI (Iniciativa para el Manejo de Riesgos en el Caribe) una de las organizaciones del PNUD (Programa de Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo) y que tiene su sede en Cuba. En esta ocasión, la Feria tuvo la particularidad de contar con cuatro folletos presentados por Cuba, y editados para este Evento como resultado de un trabajo previo de recopilación de Buenas Prácticas listadas, inventariadas y por último sistematizadas. Por ahora con cuatro folletos presentados cuyos títulos y resumen se exponen a continuación: •1. Sistema de defensa civil de Cuba.
2. Centros de gestión para la reducción de riesgos.
3. Evaluación de riesgos por penetraciones del mar en los municipios costeros de Ciudad Habana.
4. Estudio de riesgos de desastres del municipio Boyeros.
