Centro comercial abierto, una estrategia para la revitalización del Centro Histórico Urbano de Matanzas

El centro histórico de la ciudad de Matanzas se caracteriza por una gran densidad de servicios comerciales acompañados de
valiosos recursos arquitectónicos y culturales donde debe existir una mezcla equilibrada de comercio, oferta cultural y de ocio, sin
embargo, no existe una visión estratégica de la actual oferta de servicios comerciales minoristas. La presente investigación se
realiza con el objetivo de definir estrategias de marketing que posibiliten la revitalización de los servicios comerciales del Centro
Histórico Urbano de la ciudad de Matanzas en función de las necesidades de la población y los visitantes.

Abstract
The historic center of Matanzas city is characterized by a high density of commercial services together with valuable architectural
and cultural resources which should be a balanced mixture of trade, cultural and leisure offer, yet there is no strategic vision of
the current retail commercial services offered. This research is aimed at defining marketing strategies that make possible the
revitalization of commercial services of the Historical Center of the City of Matanzas on the basis of the needs of the population
and visitors.
