RESUMEN: Extracto de una entrevista inédita y exclusiva realizada a Álvaro Siza, arquitecto portugués ganador del premio Pritzker en 1992, que tuvo lugar en su estudio de Oporto. La entrevista fue realizada en dos partes -diciembre de 2016 y enero de 2020-. En ella, Siza habla de arquitectura, de su obra, y de la importancia de la luz como parte esencial del proyecto y del proceso creativo, reflejado de forma paradigmática en su Iglesia de Santa María en Marco de Canaveçes.

Dialogues of Architecture and Light with Alvaro Siza
ABSTRACT: Extract from an unpublished and exclusive interview with Álvaro Siza, Portuguese architect who won the Pritzker Prize in 1992, which took place in his studio in Porto in two parts –December 2016 and January 2020-. In the interview, Siza talks about architecture, his work, and the importance of Light as an essential part of the project and the creative process, with the more paradigmatic example in the Church of Santa Maria, in Marco de Canaveçes.
