El Convento de Santa Teresa de Jesús de La Habana: análisis y propuesta de restauración

Gracias a los canales de cooperación Italia-Cuba, en 2015 se firmó un acuerdo interuniversitario entre la Universidad de los Estudios de Florencia y el Colegio Universitario de San Gerónimo de la Habana que ha permitido poner en marcha un proyecto de estudio, en ocasión de la maestría en Arquitectura de Florencia, comprometiéndose en el caso de estudio del Convento de Santa Teresa de Jesús. El trabajo realizado empezó con una minuciosa recogida de datos históricos, métricos, estructurales, de los materiales, normativos y socioculturales. Gracias a los resultados obtenidos, relativos mayoritariamente al estado de conservación de la obra con especial atención hacia los aspectos de los principales problemas estructurales, ha sido posible conseguir una definitiva propuesta de restauración y consolidación, así como una propuesta de rehabilitación del complejo.Downloads
