Abstract

RESUMEN: Esta investigación partió de la interrogante:¿Es actualizada, integral y útil para la tomade decisiones la visión que existe sobre la situación habitacional del municipio Aguada de Pasajeros?Tuvo como objetivo actualizar el diagnóstico del hábitat humano en dicho municipio, aplicando la herramienta informativa y el procedimiento participativoconcebidos por el Proyecto Hábitat 2, comprobando además su viabilidad.Como resultado del diagnóstico multidimensional del hábitat local realizado se determinaron debilidades, inequidades y potencialidades y se establecieron propuestas de acciones estratégicas. Los resultadosfueron legitimados por la Asamblea Municipal del Poder Popular (AMPP)y el grupo de actores locales.Los problemas que impactan actualmente el hábitat en Aguada se concentran en las dimensiones territorial, ambiental y tecnológica. Se proponen acciones estratégicas dirigidas a la preparación de proyectos e inversiones para mejorar la infraestructura urbana, favorecer la accesibilidad de la población a servicios primarios, minimizar el impacto ambiental, y mejorar el estado técnico del fondo habitacional.

ABSTRACT: This investigation started from the question: Is it upgraded, integral and useful to make decisions the vision that exists of the residence situation of the municipality?. The general objective was to upgrade the diagnosis of the human habitat in Aguada de Pasajeros, applying an informative tool and a participatory procedure conceived by the International Project Habitat 2, testing its viability. As a result of the multidimensional diagnosis of the local habitat, weaknesses, inequities and potentialities were determined, and proposals of strategic actions were settled down. The results were legitimated by the MunicipalGovernment (AMPP) and the group of local actors. The problems that currently impact the habitat in Aguada are concentrated in the territorial, environmental and technological dimensions.The options of strategic actions were focusedon the preparation of projects and investments to improve the urban infrastructure, to favor the accessibility of the population to primary services, to minimize the environmental impact, and to improve the technical state of the housing fund.
