Este ensayo forma parte del catálogo
de la exposición “Palimpsestos”, del artista de la
plástica José Manuel Fors (La Habana, 1955), quien
recientemente obtuviera el Premio Nacional de Artes
Plásticas. El artículo hace referencia a la destacada
trayectoria de este creador, uno de los protagonistas de
la vanguardia de los años setenta en Cuba, y subraya
las nuevas perspectivas de estas nuevas obras, que
podrán ser disfrutadas por el público a partir del 22 de
diciembre de 2017, en las salas del Museo Nacional de
Bellas Artes, La Habana, Cuba.
ABSTRACT: This essay is part of the catalog of the
exhibition “Palimpsestos” by plastic artist José Manuel
Fors (Havana, 1955), who recently won the National Prize
for Plastic Arts. The article refers to the outstanding
career of this creator, one of the protagonists of the
avant-garde of the seventies in Cuba, and underlines
the new perspectives of these new works, which can
be enjoyed by the public form December 22nd. 2017, in
the halls of the National Museum of Fine Arts, Havana,
Cuba.
