RESUMEN: Este artículo explora las características
fundamentales de la obra del arquitecto brasilero Oscar
Niemeyer. En el mismo se pone en evidencia el aporte
original que hizo a la Arquitectura Moderna frente al
emplazamiento, el paisaje, la experiencia memorable
del espacio, la visión poética y la posibilidad tecnológica,
lo que hace que sus arquitecturas adquieran la categoría
de obra artística en la que se logran los conceptos
gadamerianos de la Negatividad Productiva y la Fusión
de Horizontes. El artículo introduce al lector en el
marco contextual de la obra, centrando el discurso en
la argumentación filosófica, lo que lleva a conclusiones
sobre la cualidad inventiva de Niemeyer.
ABSTRACT: This article explores the fundamental
characteristics of the work of the Brazilian architect
Oscar Niemeyer. It is evidenced the original contribution
that he made to the Modern Architecture facing the
location, the landscape, the memorable experience
of the space, the poetic vision, and the technological
possibility, which makes that his architecture acquires
the category of artistic work in which the Gadamerian
concepts of Productive Negativity and the Fusion of
Horizons are achieved. The article introduces the reader
within the contextual framework of the work, with a
discourse focused on philosophical argumentation,
which leads to conclusions about the inventive quality
of Niemeyer.
