RESUMEN
About resilience of art cities to natural catastrophes
ABSTRACT : The article summarizes the main issues presented and discussed at the Internacional Conference Florence 1966-2016 Resilience of art cities to natural catastrophes: the role of Academies, held in Rome in October 2016, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Florence flood. Approaches were vary and multidisciplinary. Normal standards are not appropriate for sites of patrimonial values. Debates were referred to the position to be assumed facing monuments reconstruction, tolerable risk and acceptable damage, preparation for disaster, differences between developed and developing countries, as well as contraposition between heritage preservation and ecology. At the end, the "Chart of Rome about resilience of cities to natural catastrophes" was presented and signed, as the final declaration of the Conference.

: El artículo resume los principales temas tratados y debatidos en la Conferencia Internacional Florencia 1966-2016 Resiliencia de las ciudades del arte ante catástrofes naturales: el rol de las Academias, realizada en la ciudad de Roma en octubre de 2016, en conmemoración del 50 aniversario de la inundación de Florencia. Los enfoques fueron variados y multidisciplinarios. Se insistió en que los estándares normales no son apropiados para sitios de valor patrimonial con consecuencias socioculturales adicionales. Los debates fueron referidos a la posición a asumir ante la reconstrucción de los momumentos, el riesgo tolerable y el daño aceptable, la preparación para el desastre, las diferencias entre países desarrollados y en desarrollo, así como la contraposición entre la preservación del patrimonio y la ecología. Por último, se presentó y firmó la "Carta de Roma sobre resiliencia de ciudades de arte ante catástrofes naturales" como declaración final de la Conferencia.
