Conservación y diversidad cultural en el Centro Histórico de Guanabacoa, un acercamiento a la temática
Abstract
En este artículo se pretende realizar una aproximación a laproblemática de la diversidad cultural en el Centro Histórico
de Guanabacoa, y su importancia en los procesos de
conservación de ese patrimonio. Mediante un discurso que
va y viene de lo general a lo particular se despliegan ideas
cuyo fin es presentar, de forma abierta e inconclusa,
cuestiones esenciales que se estructuran a partir de tres
aspectos: el centro histórico, la diversidad cultural y la
conservación. El artículo se estructura en tres tópicos
fundamentales: "El Centro Histórico de Guanabacoa
expresión de la diversidad cultural de un pueblo", "La
diversidad cultural como patrimonio" y "Consideraciones para
la conservación del patrimonio en el centro histórico
guanabacoense".
Palabras clave: centro histórico, diversidad cultural, autenticidad,
conservación, Guanabacoa.
