Las cubiertas, ¿cubren? Parte l
Abstract
La comunicación que se presenta a continuación mencionaresultados parciales de una investigación comenzada por la
Facultad de Arquitectura de la Cujae desde 1994. Se aportan
datos obtenidos de más de cincuenta trabajos de Diploma,
Maestrías y Doctorados que han estudiado algunas
soluciones empleadas en los sistemas constructivos de
techos y cubiertas en Cuba, las alteraciones más comunes
que las ocasionan y sus causas, posibles soluciones a los
problemas, durabilidad y malas prácticas en edificios de
viviendas desarrollados desde el siglo XVIII hasta el siglo XX.
La investigación realizada ha compilado datos de más de
cuatro provincias y siete municipios de todo el país. Se
valoran las coincidencias y diferencias en los problemas más
comunes encontrados en las ochocientas setenta y tres
edificaciones de vivienda que se han estudiado.
