¿Cómo emplear el software libre en la arquitectura y el diseño?
Abstract
En el presente trabajo se expone el uso del software libre en ramas diferentes a la informática, en particular para los trabajos relacionados con la Arquitectura y el Diseño, a partir de las posibilidades y ventajas que poseen estos productos informáticos para la realización de mejores trabajos con un mínimo de recursos. Constituye además una guía básica para usuarios que se inician, sin conocimientos previos sobre software libre, con referencia a aquellos programas que pueden sustituir a software propietarios (privativos o no). Se presentan de forma gráfica resultados de trabajos realizados por el autor que demuestran las prestaciones y posibilidades de estas herramientas.Palabras clave: diseño arquitectónico; diseño industrial; software libre; informática aplicada.
Abstract: The present work deals with the use of the free software in different branches of Informatics, particulary in tasks related to architecture and design on the basis of the possibilities and advantages of these informatic products to carry out better works with a minimun of resources. It also serves as a guide for beginners without previous knowledge on free software, with a reference to programmes that can replace proprietor softwares (either privative or not). The results of the works carried out by the author, showing the possibilities of these tools, are presented graphically.
