Methodology to assess the impact of technology transfer in house
building
ABSTRACT
: A dynamic process of transfer of
technologies is carried out in Cuba in specific local contexts
to fulfill certain state programs of construction of social
housing, where most of the decisions of technological
transfer are assumed as general policies. The present
article shows the result of an investigation to develop
a methodology for the evaluation of the impact of the
transfer of technologies for the construction of housing in
local contexts. In order to this a methodological process
was followed that started from an analysis, selection
and synthesis of bibliographical sources related with the
tools and methods of evaluation of impacts, the transfer
of technologies and the construction of housings. All that
allowed to obtain a structure of the evaluation method,
as well as to carry out a predefinición of dimensions,
variables and indicators. As a final result, this
methodology was applied to evaluate a roof technology
in the context of a neighborhood in Santa Clara City.

: En Cuba se lleva a cabo un dinámico
proceso de transferencia de tecnologías en contextos
locales específicos para cumplir con determinados
programas estatales de construcción de viviendas
sociales, donde la mayor parte de las decisiones de
transferencia tecnológica se asumen como políticas
generales. El presente artículo muestra el resultado
de una investigación para desarrollar una metodología
para la evaluación del impacto de la transferencia
de tecnologías para la construcción de viviendas en
contextos locales. Para ello se siguió un proceso
metodológico que partió de un análisis, selección y
síntesis de fuentes bibliográficas relacionadas con las
herramientas y métodos de evaluación de impactos,
la transferencia de tecnologías y la construcción de
viviendas. Todo eso permitió obtener una estructura
del método de evaluación, así como realizar una
predefinición de dimensiones, variables e indicadores.
Como resultado final se aplica dicha metodología para
evaluar una tecnología de cubierta en el contexto de un
barrio santaclareño.
