Vivienda progresiva y flexible. Aprendiendo del repertorio
Abstract
RESUMEN
: La progresividad resulta una opción viable a la
construcción de la vivienda social en la ciudad, al permitir
reducir la inversión inicial y ser transformada, mejorada
y completada en el tiempo, según las necesidades,
posibilidades y preferencias de los miembros del hogar.
El desarrollo de viviendas progresivas como alternativa
a la rigidez de la mayoría de los planes habitacionales
actuales, puede contribuir a disminuir significativamente
el déficit cuantitativo y cualitativo existente en la ciudad.
La experiencia cubana en el tema es en realidad escasa,
con excepción de la vivienda crecedera que construye
la población por medios propios. Sin embargo, existen
otras modalidades que permiten además insertarse en
contextos con valores reconocidos y lograr densidades
medias. Es por ello que el presente artículo resume
los resultados de una investigación que analiza las
principales experiencias internacionales, con el objetivo
de identificar las mejores prácticas para su posible
aplicación en el contexto nacional.

Progressive and flexible housing Learning
from experience
ABSTRACT
: Progressivity is a viable option for the
construction of the social housing in the city, it allows
to reduce the initial investment and can be transformed,
improved and completed through time, according to the
necessities, possibilities and preferences of the home
members. The development of progressive housings
as an alternative to the strictness of most of the
residence current plans, it can contribute to decrease
the quantitative and qualitative deficit of the city.The
Cuban experience in the subject is short, except for the
“growing housing” that population builds for own means.
However, there are other types of housing that also allow
to be inserted in contexts with knowledeges values and
to achieve average densities. This article summarizes
the results of an investigation and analyzes the main
international experiences, identifying the best practices
for its possible application in the national context.
