Abstract

Experiences in the Study Plan D
ABSTRACT: This paper exposes the results of an applied
research with the aim of improving the processes and
methods of the interior design teaching in the education
of architects, based on previous research results which
defined levels of integration with architectural design.
In this paper some special features of two matters
designed under such principles are shown and the
results obtained in the years 2010 and 2011 at the School
of Architecture of Havana are analyzed. It is concluded
that the results do not only surpassed the previous ones,
but also exceeded the preliminary expectative, which
reveal the effectiveness of the methods applied as well
as the theoretical basis that support them.
KEY WORDS: Interior Design - design teaching - design
theory.
