Estrategias educativas innovadoras en Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo. Reseña de la Primera Conferencia ALFA ADU_2020
Abstract
RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo se resume lo
acontecido en la Primera Conferencia de la Red ALFA
ADU_2020, celebrada del 10 al 13 de diciembre de
2012 en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Perú. El
consorcio, integrado por universidades de 18 países,
13 de ellos latinoamericanos (incluido Cuba), pretende
contribuir a la reestructuración de la educación superior
en los campos extendidos de la Arquitectura, el Diseño
y el Urbanismo, como respuesta a las demandas de un
mundo cambiante, para mejorar la futura empleabilidad
y calidad de vida de los graduados. La conferencia se
inició con una reunión de coordinadores donde se
expusieron los resultados del trabajo realizado durante
el año 2012 en relación con los talleres internacionales
realizados en Caracas, Guatemala y Glasgow, y los
grupos de trabajo en las cuatro temáticas identificadas:
nuevos campos profesionales; diseño y pensamiento
transdisciplinar; competencias regionales y locales,
y estrategias educativas innovadoras. También se
presentaron los temas para los talleres internacionales
a realizar durante el año 2013 en Tesalónica, Bogotá
y Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Sobre los cuatro temas
identificados versaron las conferencias magistrales
y mesas redondas cuyos debates de resumen en el
presente artículo. Muchas tareas y algunas interrogantes
quedaron abiertas para este año 2013 que comienza. La
próxima reunión de la Red será en marzo de 2013 en
Buenos Aires.

Innovative Educational Strategies in Architecture, Design and
Urbanism. An overview of the First Conference ALFA ADU_2020
ABSTRACT: The present paper summarizes the First
International Conference of the Network ALFA ADU_2020,
held in the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Perú from
December 10th to 13th, 2012. The association, integrated
by 18 countries, 13 of them from Latin America (including
Cuba), intends to contribute to restructuring the higher
education in the extended fields of Architecture, Design
and Urbanism, as an answer to the demands in a
changing world, to improve the future employability
and quality of life of graduates. The Conference started
with a meeting of coordinators, in which the results
of the work carried out during 2012 were presented,
related to the international workshops held in Caracas,
Guatemala and Glasgow, and the groups working on the
four identified issues: new professional fields; design
and trans disciplinary thinking; regional and local
competences, and innovative teaching strategies. The
projects to be developed in the international workshops
during 2013 (Thessalonica, Bogotá and Santa Cruz de
la Sierra) were also presented. Lectures, round tables
and debates related to the four identifies issues are
summarized in the present paper. Many tasks and some
questions are opened for this year. The next network
meeting will be held in Buenos Aires on March 2013.
