El Parque Lenin: cuatro décadas después
Abstract
RESUMEN: El trabajo aborda la situación que presenta
el Parque Lenin en la actualidad, próximo a cumplir los
cuarenta años de haber sido construido. Se parte de
sus orígenes y se transita a lo largo del tiempo por los
diferentes edificios y paisajes que conformaron la obra
en sus inicios, los que en el momento de escribir estas
líneas ofrecían una situación técnico constructiva que
diverge de su concepción original. Asimismo se hace un
llamado a la recuperación de los valores culturales de
esta obra, que constituyó una propuesta novedosa de
recreación educativa para los habitantes de la ciudad de
La Habana a inicios de la década de 1970.

Parque Lenin: Four decades later
ABSTRACT: This work is about the Parque Lenin
current situation after four decades of its construction.
It starts with the origin of the park and goes along the
time through the primitive buildings and landscapes
which have been built in the place years ago and were
very different of its original conception when these lines
were written. Also this work makes a call for the rescue
of the original cultural values of this park which used to
be an innovative proposal for the cultural entertainment
of the inhabitants of the city of Havana at the beginning
of the 1970s.
