Familia y habitabilidad en la vivienda. Aproximaciones metodológicas para su estudio desde una perspectiva sociológica.
Abstract
RESUMEN: El artículo presenta los resultados de
la primera etapa de una investigación, acerca de
las preferencias y expectativas de la familia cubana
contemporánea en relación con la vivienda, la cual
tiene entre sus objetivos proponer un conjunto de
recomendaciones que contribuyan a perfeccionar la
norma de requisitos funcionales y de habitabilidad para
la vivienda urbana. Mediante el análisis y la síntesis
documental se exponen los fundamentos teóricometodológicos
que avalan la investigación, y el estudio
de la familia como categoría sociológica. Se aportan
criterios para el análisis de la habitabilidad en la vivienda
desde una perspectiva social, centrada en la familia
como unidad de análisis.

Family and the housing habitability: Methodological approaches for
study from the sociological perspective.
ABSTRACT: The article presents the results achieved
at the first stage of a research about the preferences
and expectations of the contemporary Cuban family on
housing issues, in order to make some recommendations
that contribute to the improvement of housing design, and
the functional requirements and habitability normative of
urban housing. By means of the analysis of documents,
a theoretical and methodological bases was proposed in
order to support the research and the study of family as
a sociological category. The approaches help to analyze
the conditions of habitability from a social perspective
focused on family as a group of analysis.
