El patrimonio cultural del ISPJAE y su relación con la disciplina Preparación para la Defensa
Abstract
Resumen: El trabajo que se presenta a continuación brinda un acercamiento a la protección y conservación del patrimonio cultural universitario y al vínculo indisoluble que tiene con la defensa nacional, en particular con los contenidos que se imparten en la disciplina de Preparación para la Defensa de las carreras de ciencias técnicas que se ofrecen en el ISPJAE. El objetivo fundamental es demostrar el nexo que tiene el conocimiento sobre el patrimonio cultural en la preservación de la identidad de la comunidad universitaria y por ende en la defensa del país. Las principales conclusiones del trabajo tratan la importancia de la promoción del conocimiento sobre el patrimonio cultural universitario, la relación entre los tres procesos sustantivos universitarios y la forma en que desde ellos se favorece la actualización del conocimiento para fomentar en estudiantes, trabajadores y profesores el cuidado de los bienes que el país pone en sus manos y el vínculo indisoluble que tienen con la defensa de la identidad entre otros aspectos, de ahí la necesidad de potenciar estos conocimientos desde la disciplina de Preparación para la Defensa.

The Cultural Heritage of ISPJAE, and its Relationship with Preparation for Defence Discipline
Abstrac:This paper provides an approach to the protection and conservation of the cultural heritage of the university and its relation with national defense, taking into consideration those subjects included in the discipline Preparation for Defense, devoted to technical studies at the José Antonio Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute. The main aim is to show the importance of having a wide knowledge about the cultural heritage in the formation of values as well as the need to preserve the identity of the university community and the country defense.
