Abstract
I NTRODUCCIÓNLínea, la calle madre del Vedado, atesora un considerable
número de inmuebles que reclaman su urgente valorización
patrimonial, algunos ya centenarios y aún vivos. Tal es el
caso de la casa de los Galán, en calle Línea, No. 504 (506)
e/D y E, nacida con el siglo XX, es a la vez única y tradicional
en la arquitectura cubana y evidencia de la modernidad que
se avecinaba.
