ESTUDIANTES DE ARQUITECTURA Y LA IDENTIDAD DE LA CIUDAD DE LA HABANA
Abstract
La asignatura Teoría e Historia de la Arquitectura y elUrbanismo (THAU) VII, impartida en el primer semestre del
cuarto año de la carrera de Arquitectura de la Facultad
correspondiente en la Ciudad Universitaria José Antonio
Echeverría, tiene como objetivo fundamental profundizar los
conocimientos teóricos sobre tres áreas específicas del
amplio espectro de la profesión: la arquitectura, el urbanismo
y la conservación. La interesante materia transcurre por seis
temas, en los cuales se asientan los fundamentos
necesarios para el desarrollo saludable de la práctica
profesional: 1. Criterios metodológicos para enfrentar la
arquitectura y la ciudad. 2. Definiciones teóricas
fundamentales en el urbanismo. 3. Definiciones teóricas
fundamentales en la arquitectura. 4. La rehabilitación de los
centros históricos y las zonas de valor. 5. El concepto
dialéctico de identidad cultural. 6. El arquitecto y su obra.
