VULNERABILIDAD DE LAS VIVIENDAS EN EL CENTRO HISTÓRICO DE SANTIAGO DE CUBA
Abstract

historical, architectural, social and environmental values that
are affected by the actions of the resident population. These
actions cause the irreversible transformation of big areas of
housing, making them vulnerable in the urban and
architectural aspects; they also affect the ability the city has
to recuperate from deteriorations originated by a seismic
event. Heritage property in the territory, especially housing,
has high risk to disappear due to its age, its high level of
deterioration and the likes of the resident population.
