LA INTERVENCIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA Y URBANA A TRAVÉS DEL DISEÑO ASISTIDO POR COMPUTADORA
Abstract
La arquitectura, a través de todos los tiempos, se ha apoyado en la
representación gráfica con el objetivo de exponer, de modo concreto,
las ideas de las cuales surge una obra, así como todos los elementos
precisos para su materialización. Para el arquitecto siempre va a ser
necesario cierto conocimiento acerca de lo que puede ser o no
geométricamente posible al emplear determinadas formas y
materiales, y que de este estudio la obra adquiera una forma definida,
ejecutable, y pueda ser llevada a la realidad a través de la
construcción. Más que una simple herramienta de precisión, la
representación arquitectónica y urbana con todos los aspectos que ella
encierra, es un lenguaje que supera los elementos técnicos, para dotar
de trascendencia artística y científica a la arquitectura. El presente
artículo muestra la importancia de la utilización de las técnicas
computacionales para las intervenciones arquitectónicas y urbanas
como herramientas de diseño.

The architecture, through all the times, has leaned on the graphic
representation with the objective of exposing, in a concrete way, the
ideas of which a work arises, as well as all the precise elements for its
materialization. For the architect it will always be necessary certain
knowledge about what can be or not geometrically possible when using
certain forms and materials, and that of this study the work acquires a
defined, executable form, and it can be taken to the reality through the
construction. More than a simple tool of precision, the architectural and
urban representation with all the aspects that it contains, is a language
that overcomes the technical elements, to endow from artistic and
scientific transcendency to the architecture. The present article shows
the importance of the use of the computational techniques for the
architectural and urban interventions as design tools.
