Proceso de urbanización y paisaje en la cuenca de la bahía de Santiago de Cuba
Abstract
Resumen
El paisaje es el resultado de la interacción de factores naturales
y antrópicos, donde quedan impresas las trazas de las
diferentes intervenciones y modelos de apropiación del hombre
en el territorio. A partir de esta idea se realiza un análisis de
cómo el paisaje de la cuenca de la bahía de Santiago de Cuba
ha sido transformado desde la fundación de la ciudad
homónima y ha evolucionado culturalmente a través de la
historia. Se definen los momentos importantes que han
marcado cambios en ese paisaje, descubriendo los elementos
de mayor significación que lo identifican.

Abstract:
The landscape is the result of the interaction of natural and
cultural factors, where the traces of the different interventions
and models of the man's appropriation in the territory are printed.
This work carries out an analysis of how the landscape of the
basin of Santiago de Cuba bay has been transformed, starting
from the foundation of the homonymous city and evolving
culturally through the history. It also defines important issues
that have marked changes in that landscape, discovering the
more significant elements which identify it.
