Propuestas de diseño para la sede del Proyecto Artístico Comunitario Korimakao

RESUMEN: En las últimas décadas se han desarrollado en Cuba múltiples experiencias de trabajo organizadas y ejecutadas a escala comunitaria. Ello ha sido posible, entre otros factores, por la creciente integración de las diferentes instituciones y organizaciones a los proyectos de animación sociocultural. En tal sentido, se destaca el Proyecto Artístico Comunitario Korimakao, en la Ciénaga de Zapata, provincia de Matanzas, el cual ha tenido muy buenos resultados en su quehacer tras varios años de aplicación. En este artículo se exponen algunos resultados del trabajo realizado por la Facultad de Arquitectura con este grupo artístico comunitario. Se muestran las características del trabajo desarrollado, así como las experiencias en su aplicación. Esta experiencia pone en evidencia la importancia de los proyectos como instrumento válido para el desarrollo del trabajo comunitario y como escuela de colectivismo entre sus miembros, la comunidad sobre la que se actúa y la sociedad en general.
ABSTRACT: Many experiences have been developed in Cuba in recent decades, organized and implemented at Community level. This has been possible, among other factors, by the increasing integration of different institutions and organizations to sociocultural animation projects. In this regard, the Community Art Project Korimakao, at the Ciénaga de Zapata, Matanzas, has had very good results in its labor, after several years of implementation. This article presents some results of the work accomplished by the School of Architecture with this community art group and exposes the characteristics of the work and its application as well. This experience highlights the importance of projects as a valid instrument for the development of community work and its significance as a school of collectivism among its members, the community on which it acts and society in general.
